Steve Saltzman is the primary business Principal at Saltzman Associates, focusing on our company’s activities related to research, business development consulting and our popular industry roundtables. As a student of the industry, Steve spends a great deal of time learning from others and translating those insights into actionable information to improve the overall results of our industry.
He organizes and facilitates a number of different industry roundtable groups that are focused on helping institutional distributors grow their investment and insurance business through the use of research, best practices and benchmarking tools.
In addition to working with banks and broker dealers, Saltzman provides counsel to financial product underwriters and service providers to assist them in business development through product design and entering new markets or channels.
With over 24 years in the financial services industry, Mr. Saltzman has held various leadership positions at large intermediary distributors, and at domestic and offshore insurers-- all with a focus on life insurance, annuity and investment distribution.
A graduate of University of Southern Mississippi, Saltzman lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons in the Charlotte, NC area.

Jennifer Saltzman is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Saltzman Associates. She is responsible for strategy, tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for the company's services.
Her responsibilities include designing, organizing, and managing the marketing functions and website initiatives to achieve the company's objectives while ensuring a marketing message consistent with the corporate direction. Jennifer is also responsible for the event planning associated with the company’s numerous roundtable meetings.
Jennifer has a background in the financial services industry, having held management positions at large insurance companies and bank programs within their sales, marketing and operations areas.

Peter Trask is a Research Associate for Saltzman Associates. Peter is responsible for the data collection and analysis from wirehouse, regional and independent broker dealers, as well as banks and credit union broker dealers and the third-party broker dealers that support them.
Mr. Trask completed his master’s degree in Sports Management at Wingate University in North Carolina in 2016. As a former collegiate soccer player, Trask remains passionate about the sport as a staff coach for the Carolina Rapids Soccer Club.
