This roundtable will focus on strategies and solutions for financial services firms and their Financial Advisors providing Qualified Plans/401(k)s to their clients. We are planning an agenda to cover a variety of topics, including the changes to be brought about by the imminent passage of the SECURE Act.
The Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement (SECURE) Act will bring with it the biggest legislative changes to America’s retirement system in over a decade. With some provisions becoming effective upon passage and others going into effect in January 2020, we anticipate a robust group discussion of impacts to retirement plan providers and advisors brought about by the new law.
Consistent with the roundtable concept, all participants afforded equal opportunity to participate in the discussion, without regard to their organization or role. Our roundtable meetings are structured so that all participants have an opportunity to gain insights from the discussion by contributing their perspective and experiences, as well as being able to ask questions of their peers. And thanks to the support of our sponsors, there is no cost to participate.
Attendees include Qualified Plan leaders from top broker-dealers, banks and RIAs. Executives from wirehouse, national, regional, and independent broker dealers, RIAs, banks, and credit unions whose Financial Advisors are currently engaged in or contemplating supporting their clients with establishing or overhauling qualified plans. We also include other industry experts, including representatives from insurance companies, service providers, and other related firms.
